For those who eat to drink and drink to eat there’s this volume of over 1,250 recipes for both. The authors were very diplomatic: exactly one half is filled with booze and the other half with what used to be known as canapés and now are just called snacks. We’ll pass on the “cheesed bologna cups” and also the “sauerkraut balls” but who can say no to caviar-stuffed eggs? Cocktails and Snacks is the perfect gift for anyone kitting out their home bar, with an invaluable section on stocking the right glassware and tools. Plus, the fabulous cover graphics are no slouch in the design department and if anything, warrants the book to be displayed.
