It is unusual to find a Squash Blossom necklace in gold vermeil as traditional ones are typically made in silver. This extremely fine example was made by Navajo artist Leon F. Kirlie (LFK). It features 15 turquoise cabochons with 14 squash blossoms. The “Naja” or inverted moon is said to symbolize the womb.
