Herbert Sigüenza (b. 1959) was trained as a printmaker and artist. He attended the California College of Art and Crafts and later become the art director for La Raza Silkscreen Center (later known as La Raza Graphics.)
The title of this work translates to “The Dawn,” and presents a starkly simple view of crop fields and the rising sun. In 1984, Sigüenza moved on from graphic arts to become co-found of Culture Clash.
